TITLEIST PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE (TPI) & BIOMECHANICS

Physicality is a key component to good golf, and whilst generic fitness is important, there are significant benefits to bespoke, golf specific exercises.

If you are a golfer who is keen to develop your swing physically alongside your technical coaching, then there is high value to having your physical range of motion professionally assessed, and to be guided through corrective exercises and development.  Diamond Health & Fitness provides the golf specific functional equipment and coaching to improve your swing physicality

Qualified and Certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) professional Stu Diamond can provide you with fitness / range of motion screening to assess the ‘Body Swing Connection’ and create a plan to develop physical efficiency within your swing. TPI Certification is an internationally recognised professional qualification and the leading company in the world for golfers physical development coaching programmes.

“An issue with your swing is often rooted in an issue with your body. Find the dysfunction and you find the fix”.

TPI assessments are extremely productive to support  any professional technical  tuition around  swing development. Overlaying such data supports golf coaches to create the most efficient and consistent swing for the individual golfer.

BIOMECHANICS

Not only are there significant benefits to assessing and developing the body swing connection physically (TPI), it is important to encourage golfers themselves to understand their movements and / or limitations. This is an ethos that Diamond Health & Fitness promote on a wider basis, as we believe educating people in understanding fitness and their bodies, assists them in both injury prevention and safe development.

Alongside and complimenting the TPI assessments, we utilise “MySwing” biomechanics as a teaching modality. MySwing is one of the world’s leading systems in biomechanical 3D video analysis of the golf swing, and the system analyses and provides detailed data to allow evaluation of movement and the kinematic sequence.

Biomechanics allows golfers to see themselves as a 3D “Avatar” figure on screen, whilst data captures take place on specific physical and technical movements within the golf swing. Use of such technology can assist certified instructor Stu Diamond to assess range of motion and identify dysfunctions (physically) and providing data for PGA golf coaches to drill into the physical and technical aspects of the golf swing.
